About the Designer

Hi, Iโ€™m Dafna Tzidkiyahu โ€“ a photography artist, a mother, and the designer of this chair that helps you breastfeed comfortably and with dignity, wherever you are.

As a third-year photography student at Bezalel Academy, with a prior B.Ed. degree in Art and Education (with honors), Iโ€™ve spent years exploring the intersection between the body, public space, and aesthetics. After countless moments of breastfeeding on uncomfortable benches in parks and public areas, I realized it was time to design a new kind of solution.

Why this chair?

It was born from an independent research process involving interviews and focus groups with dozens of women, lactation consultants, and health professionals โ€“ all to understand what hurts the back and what weighs on the heart.

The design was developed with expert input, tested with mothers in public spaces and clinics, and received enthusiastic feedback that led to its continued refinement and official registration as a protected design in Israel, Europe, and other countries.

A Bit About Me and My Artistic Journey

I held a solo exhibition on โ€œWomen in Judaismโ€ at the Israeli Parliament (Knesset), and my photographs appear in the book โ€œShards of Miracles,โ€ published by Steimatzky. I also teach art in schools and enrichment programs across the country. Alongside my work as a fashion and jewelry consultant, I explore how aesthetics can drive social change โ€“ and this chair is my latest expression of that vision.

My Vision

To transform public breastfeeding into a calm, aesthetic, frustration-free experience โ€“ without the need to hide in a side room, and without compromising comfort or modesty.
